1. How to request deletion
Inside the app (recommended): Profile → Delete account. The deletion process runs immediately when you confirm.
Without access to the app: email info@siphome.app from your account's email address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify your identity and run the same deletion process, replying within the deadlines required by applicable law (Dominican Republic Law 172-13 and equivalent frameworks).
2. What is permanently deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, together with every associated uploaded file (photos, documents, payment proofs and screenshots):
Your account and profile, including private data (phone, email) and identity-verification documents.
Your published listings, projects and units, with their photos and floor plans.
Your favorites, search alerts and shared favorite lists you own (if you were only a member of someone else's list, you are simply removed from it).
Your rental-management data: managed properties, income/expense ledger with receipts, maintenance records with photos, leases and rent charges.
Your loans registered in the mortgage auditor.
Your purchases, payments (with proofs) and purchase documents.
Your professional records: lawyer engagements (as client or lawyer), plan requests, service-professional applications, property claims and authorizations, condominium requests and verification requests with their proofs.
Your complete support tickets, including the reply thread and attached screenshots.
Your notifications inbox.
Your property documents kept in the vault, with their files.
Your certification: requests, exam attempts and the public verifiable certificate, which stops being available on the verification page.
Your featured-listing and short-term-rental subscription requests.
Your insurance quotes (as a user and as a broker) and your inspection reports (as a buyer and as an inspector).
Your fractional-investment offers and placements as a fiduciary.
Your short-term-rental company, if you were the only person in it (if it still has other active staff, the deletion stops and we ask you to transfer ownership first).
The blocks you placed on other people, and the blocks others placed on you.
Your bookings, visits and inquiries (as customer or owner), including those received on your listings, and reviews left on your deleted listings.
Your condominium resident data: memberships, payments with proofs, amenity bookings and maintenance tickets.
Your manager assignments on other users' properties.
Your AI usage counter.
A final storage sweep removes all your file folders (images and videos, identity-verification documents, verification proofs, claims, support screenshots, purchase documents and attachments, rental receipts, maintenance photos, property documents, inspection photos, fractional-offer documents, and CONFOTUR, fideicomiso and MIVHED certificates), even if a file was left unreferenced.
3. What is kept, and why
Content that other people depend on is kept without your identity (attributed to "Usuario eliminado" — deleted user — with no name, email or photo):
Reviews you wrote: the rating and comment are kept so the reviewed professional or listing is not punished; your identity is removed.
Your forum posts and comments: the content is kept so other people's conversations don't break; your identity is removed (your images ARE deleted).
Moderation reports you filed: the reason and reported content are kept as anti-fraud evidence; your reporter identity is removed.
Direct messages: your own messages are deleted and your identity is stripped from the conversation; the other person's messages and their copy of the conversation are kept.
Notifications that were sent to other users remain in those users' inboxes.
Canonical property records that unify several users' listings are unlinked from your name but survive.
Files you uploaded for a condominium as its administrator or treasurer (expense invoices, announcements, bylaws and minutes, and the association's bank statements imported for payment reconciliation) are accounting records of the condominium association, not your personal data: they are kept while the condominium exists on SIP, or until the condo administration asks support to remove them. Your payment proofs as a resident ARE deleted (section 2).
In addition, we may keep specific records where the law requires it (e.g., fraud prevention), as stated in the Privacy Policy.
4. Timelines
In-app: the deletion cascade runs immediately upon confirmation.
By email: after verifying your identity we run the same process and reply within the legally required deadlines.
The anonymized content in section 3 is kept indefinitely, containing no data that identifies you.
5. Special case: sole administrator of a condominium
If you are the only administrator of an active condominium, deletion is blocked until you transfer administration to another resident — otherwise the whole community (units, fees, other residents) would be orphaned. The app tells you this, and deletion proceeds as soon as you transfer it.
