Account: name, email, phone, user type (password handled by Firebase Authentication). Identity and professional-credential verification: CBR#, bar registration (matrícula), RNC and, for verification, identity documents (cédula/passport) — stored in a restricted-access space and never displayed publicly. Technical access is through links with a private key known only to your app and the review team; these links are deleted along with your files when you delete your account. If an identity review is not approved, we store a review-reason code (closed list, no free text), for internal use and visible only to you, which is deleted when the verification is approved. Content you publish: listings, photos, reviews, forum posts. Messages you send in the in-app chat. Bookings and inquiries. Location: only with your device permission and only APPROXIMATE (the app does not request precise location), for the map and "near me" features. We do NOT read your contacts: contact sync was removed from the app on 11 August 2026 and the app no longer requests that permission. Device and crash data via Firebase Crashlytics; a crash report carries your internal account identifier (never your email or your name) so several crashes from the same person can be linked. App usage via Google Analytics for Firebase: which screens are opened, at which step a form is abandoned, whether a search returns results and whether a contact attempt completes, together with the device model, OS version and app version. It is collected under a pseudonymous installation identifier, is NOT tied to your account, and does NOT include your name, email, phone, location or the text you type when searching. We do NOT use an advertising identifier, we do NOT use advertising trackers and we do NOT sell your personal data.
Your document number, typed by you. When you request identity verification we also collect the number of the document you choose (cédula, driver's license or passport, plus the issuing country for passports), exactly as you type it. We use it to verify your identity and to keep one document from backing more than one verified account. It lives in your restricted area, never on your public profile. For the uniqueness check we also store a derived, irreversible code (HMAC) in a separate index that contains no photos and cannot be turned back into your number.
What you publish in a listing is public. When you publish a property, its location —address, sector, province and the coordinates you mark on the map— is stored and shown next to the listing, along with the photos, the price and your public name as the seller. That information is visible to anyone who opens the listing, including people without a SIP account. You decide what you publish: if you would rather a property’s exact location not be public, do not mark it on the listing map. Your phone number and email are not published with the listing: they are stored separately and only reach the other person when you reply to an inquiry.
Crash reports. If the app closes unexpectedly or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics (Google) receives a technical report: device model and operating system, app version, the technical details of the error, the screen where it happened and an installation identifier. So that we can fix problems affecting a specific account, the report is linked to your account's internal identifier, a random code that is not your name, email or phone number. We do not deliberately include your messages, documents or photos.
Operating the marketplace and your account (performance of contract); verifying professional credentials and preventing fraud (legitimate interest / legal compliance); moderating content and securing the service (legitimate interest); push notifications you can switch off in Profile (consent); diagnosing and fixing app errors (legitimate interest); compliance with applicable law (legal obligation).
Queries you send to the AI features are processed by two providers, depending on the feature: Google's Gemini API (reading documents you upload, such as receipts or bank statements) and Groq, Inc. (generating the explanatory text). Do not include sensitive personal data in AI queries. AI outputs are informational estimates only — see the Terms of Service.
Google LLC / Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, file storage, push notifications, Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase), Google Maps, Google Gemini AI and Groq, Inc. (text generation) process data on our behalf. We disclose personal data to authorities only when required by law or to protect users from fraud or harm.
Data is stored and processed on infrastructure operated by Google and by Groq, Inc., which may be located in the United States and other countries. By using SIP you acknowledge this transfer. These providers process data on SIP's behalf under their contractual data-processing terms.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account inside the app (Profile → Delete account); this removes your personal data and content through our deletion process. Some records may be kept where the law requires it (e.g., fraud prevention). You may also request deletion without installing the app, at https://app.siphome.app/delete-account/, or by writing to info@siphome.app.
Identity verification data: (a) document photos are kept while your account exists — they are the basis of your verification and of the light re-confirmation, which does not ask for photos again — and are deleted with it; (b) the typed number follows the same rule: kept while your account exists and deleted with it; (c) the derived code (HMAC) is released if a request is rejected or abandoned (reservations expire on their own after 30 days) or when the account is deleted; codes blocked for fraud are kept, with no photos, no number and no link to a person once the account is purged.
Crash reports are kept for 90 days in Firebase Crashlytics and are then deleted automatically by Google. Deleting your account does not remove them sooner, but the identifier they contain no longer corresponds to any account.
Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection — exercisable in-app or at info@siphome.app. Dominican Republic: rights under Law 172-13 on Protection of Personal Data. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — SIP does not sell personal data nor share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We verify requests and answer within the legally required deadlines.
SIP is not directed to persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Access-controlled database rules, encryption in transit, a restricted-access space for identity documents and least-privilege access. If a security breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authorities as required by applicable law.
Updates will be posted here; material changes will be flagged in the app.
Latest entry: October 5, 2026 — we declared crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and what they contain in section 1, added their purpose in section 2 and their 90-day retention in section 6.
