Account: name, email, phone, user type (password handled by Firebase Authentication). Identity and professional-credential verification: CBR#, bar registration (matrícula), RNC and, for verification, identity documents (cédula/passport) — stored in restricted storage and never displayed publicly. If an identity review is not approved, we store a review-reason code (closed list, no free text), for internal use and visible only to you, which is deleted when the verification is approved. Content you publish: listings, photos, reviews, forum posts. Messages you send in the in-app chat. Bookings and inquiries. Location: only with your device permission and only APPROXIMATE (the app does not request precise location), for the map and "near me" features. We do NOT read your contacts: contact sync was removed from the app on 11 August 2026 and the app no longer requests that permission. Device and crash data via Firebase Crashlytics; a crash report carries your internal account identifier (never your email or your name) so several crashes from the same person can be linked. App usage via Google Analytics for Firebase: which screens are opened, at which step a form is abandoned, whether a search returns results and whether a contact attempt completes, together with the device model, OS version and app version. It is collected under a pseudonymous installation identifier, is NOT tied to your account, and does NOT include your name, email, phone, location or the text you type when searching. We do NOT use an advertising identifier, we do NOT use advertising trackers and we do NOT sell your personal data.
What you publish in a listing is public. When you publish a property, its location —address, sector, province and the coordinates you mark on the map— is stored and shown next to the listing, along with the photos, the price and your public name as the seller. That information is visible to anyone who opens the listing, including people without a SIP account. You decide what you publish: if you would rather a property’s exact location not be public, do not mark it on the listing map. Your phone number and email are not published with the listing: they are stored separately and only reach the other person when you reply to an inquiry.
Operating the marketplace and your account (performance of contract); verifying professional credentials and preventing fraud (legitimate interest / legal compliance); moderating content and securing the service (legitimate interest); push notifications you can switch off in Profile (consent); compliance with applicable law (legal obligation).
Queries you send to the AI features are processed by two providers, depending on the feature: Google's Gemini API (reading documents you upload, such as receipts or bank statements) and Groq, Inc. (generating the explanatory text). Do not include sensitive personal data in AI queries. AI outputs are informational estimates only — see the Terms of Service.
Google LLC / Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, file storage, push notifications, Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase), Google Maps, Google Gemini AI and Groq, Inc. (text generation) process data on our behalf. We disclose personal data to authorities only when required by law or to protect users from fraud or harm.
Data is stored and processed on infrastructure operated by Google and by Groq, Inc., which may be located in the United States and other countries. By using SIP you acknowledge this transfer. Transfer safeguards are under review with counsel (DR Law 172-13 and equivalent frameworks).
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account inside the app (Profile → Delete account); this removes your personal data and content through our deletion process. Some records may be kept where the law requires it (e.g., fraud prevention). You may also request deletion without installing the app, at https://app.siphome.app/delete-account/, or by writing to info@siphome.app.
Access, correction, deletion, portability and objection — exercisable in-app or at info@siphome.app. Dominican Republic: rights under Law 172-13 on Protection of Personal Data. California residents (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — SIP does not sell personal data nor share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We verify requests and answer within the legally required deadlines.
SIP is not directed to persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Access-controlled database rules, encryption in transit, restricted storage for identity documents and least-privilege access. If a security breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the competent authorities as required by applicable law.
Updates will be posted here; material changes will be flagged in the app.
